The following bands will be playing FREE at Founders Day. The Founders Day website has all of the details!
- 10am-3pm: Music - Back Porch Players (old time music), Adamson's Cabin, 10am-3pm, 11110 Lawrence 1137. They will be performing on the front porch of the Adamson's Cabin next to the Jones Memorial Museum in Mt. Vernon, MO. The Back Porch players sing and play old time music from the 1800's. Some are Civil War songs and they give a short history lesson about the time frame, what was happening at the time and how and why the song was written. There are three generations of Family that make up the Back Porch Players. Come and Enjoy their performance. At the Cabin.
